Carrie Underwood and her hubby, Mike Fisher, would like you to know that you are beautiful and special and you are loved.
Bullying is a big problem in this country and too many times we
hear stories of kids killing themselves due to bullying and
harrassment. Well Carrie and Mike have joined with Do It For Daron (DIFD), a group that is hoping to raise awareness of the growing epidemic and offer hope to those with mental illnesses, to record a PSA
to let people know that they are beautiful and special and to talk to
somebody if they need help when things seem to have gotten too bad to
handle.
From the DIFD website:
On November 12th, 2010, Daron Richardson took her own life. She was
just 14 years old. The community reached out compassionately and Joined
us in inspiring conversations and showing support not only for Daron
Richardson’s family, but for all our young people who suffer in silence
from the pain and stigma of mental Illness. On February 8th, hundreds of
schools and organizations registered to wear Purple (Daron’s favourite
colour).
Check out Carrie and Mike's PSA below and then head over to the DIFDwebsite here to find out how you can help.
