Phil's Special Dog
 
 This is Ashlyn my special friend at Jonesboro Animal Control. I named her that because it's Irish meaning vision or dream. Ashlyn is a 1 1/2 to 2 year old, 17 to 20 lb Beagle. She is just like any other dog except she is blind. Ashlyn is playful and very loving. She gets along great with all the other dogs at Animal Control. I think it's comforting for her hear and smell the other dogs around. We are looking for a forever home for her. She will need to be an inside dog for the most part with a fenced backyard to play. I think it would help for her new owner to already have a dog or two because she enjoys being around other dogs. They would also need to help Ashlyn adjust to her new surroundings. I will pay for the initial cost of a microchip and will drive her to her new home if needed...as long as it's in NE Arkansas.
